We have so many EC bags, going back to the Latitudes, and have 22" Tarmacs, but love the 20" and 24" Hovercrafts because they are made so well but are so light. We carry the small ones on in the US (never check anything through anymore) and the 25" ones have been all over the world and are perfect for a few weeks. Also love the Sidekick. It really has a place for everything and is my favorite small case to take on major trips. (My husband calls me a "bag person" - at least he doesn't say "bag lady" - and I'm a big Eagle Creek fan, as you can tell.

I checked the HC25" for a recent ski trip and carried on the HC 20". The HC 20" fit easily overhead. They both wheel smoothly and are easy to pickup with the handles on the top, sides and bottom. I also like the way they "piggy back" together. They are easy to put together and the balance is good when upright.

I went to China, San Miguell de Allende and all over the North Island of New Zealand. The last trip was with my husband, out luggage held up excellently. He brought his surf boards and for some crazy reason I decided to hook up all our bags and pull them in line. The little straps that came with each bag worked perfectly. He had more problems with his boards and I was cruisin" down LAX like a breeze. I love everything about my luggage and especially how all my pack it cubes and bags work together. Love the water proof lining in some, great for wet swim suits. I just wish I could get the black mark off the pretty tree frog green material airlines put on.

I am so pleased with durability of your Hovercraft luggage line. I travel to India twice a year. I'm sure you are aware that India can be tough on luggage. I used to just buy a new piece and chuck it after I got home (that is if it made it home one piece). My last trip involved a 16 hour drive to Daharmsala by van. The roads had been washed out and it was a long bumpy ride. My 28" bag got ejected from the top of the van on a very bad stretch while we were doing about 40 mph. It did a few end-over-ends and came to rest in a ditch. Besides being dirty and muddy it was fine and later cleaned up like new. In addition, the stabilizer bar on this bag can be used to open a bottle of beer ( a plus in my book). The luggage is lightweight but tough. I use cubes to pack and they save tons of space. The bag is always stuffed to capacity after I'm done shopping.
I'm headed out again next week. It's nice to know that I won't have to worry about packing and luggage. I love my tree frog color, sure makes it easy to find in a sea of black luggage. I recommend this luggage for anyone, it's worth the investment. Packing cubes also make great gifts for your friends and family. Thanks for making such quality products.

Recently my husband and I purchased a 25" and a 28" Hovercraft suitcase. We are very pleased with their light weight! However, there is a strong suggestion from us for a redesign idea - MAKE THEM NESTING! For two reasons. The first for storage, the second fo transAtlantic travel when you are allowed two suitcases but plan to shop at the destination so only the small suitcase is packed then they can be nested to check in.
Love your products - I'm sure I own 1/2 of them.
Cheers,

Great product (like all Eagle Creek products!) but it has a tendency to tip when fully loaded. An extra (or repositioned) footpad would help significantly. Now that I have learned of this tipping problem I usually set the bag against a wall or just tip it over myself. Not ideal but not the worst inconvenience ever.

Suitcase was wonderfully lightweight which is what I wanted. However, the airline managed to damage the wheels at the spot they are attached to the bag on my very first flight. I must say Eagle Creek is honoring the no questions warranty however it cost me $96.00 to ship the bag - almost 1/2 the initial cost of the bag. I was not too happy about that part of the deal.
