This is a perfect bag for when you just want to carry the essentials: wallet, camera, phone, tickets, map, water bottle, etc. (and paperback book, if you're like me.) The material is sturdy, and the design is very, very organized. I originally bought this bag thinking that the middle compartment would be a bit bigger, but when all the other pockets are full you can't fit much into the center one. However, this isn't really a problem. Like I said, perfect for the days when you don't want to carry unnecessary stuff. And it seems to distribute the weight in the bag very nicely, making it easy to carry. Overall a great bag.

Great bag for travel or daily use. I was looking at the Compass but decided on the Guide Pro because of the extra space. Really lets you organize a lot of stuff for long trips but it flat enough to fit inside another carry on to maximize space and packing room! The chocolate color is really nice and matches pretty much anything. Don't over fill or the bag loses the flat/low profile look that is part of its attraction Good pockets for stashing passports/I.D.s and other important items that need to be accessed frequently but need to remain inacessible to others! I will be using this bag for a long time to come!

Originally, I was looking for something to carry all my immediate and valuable travel necessities, i.e., tickets, wallet, passport, digital camera, medications and more. Now, I use it daily to carry checkbook, cell phone, Day-Timer, medications, and more. It replaced a smaller E.C. bag.

I had an old guide bag that I used for years and decided to get a new one to use when I travel to visit my daughter in college. All of the pockets keep every thing handy and at my fingertips. While I still use the old won I think It's a little too "broken in" at this point. I like the new one as much as I like the old one.
